You are worthy of praise, how is it that a man
a sinner like me deserving of death
in my lowly state
was able to obtain the Grace of an Almighty God.
My saviour and King, even though I wander astray
Still you take me back in your loving arms
Though I speak evil and act wrongfully
You still hold me in highest regard
Because of the blood which you shed on the cross of calvary.
I cannot fathom the pain, nor the sorrow that your son felt in the
Garden of Gethsemane, when he foresaw the agony
Which he would forgo so that I could be justified and made pure
In your image.
Let all the adoration and worship
Be due to you.
You heal my broken spirit, and bruised body
You sustain me in my times of distress
Lord how many times do you have to remind me of your grace
And saving power for me to finally hold onto your unfailing word.
You ask me
What more do you want from me to prove that I love you?
Nothing my God, your grace is sufficient
You have paid the highest price no man could afford
That’s more than enough to prove that you love me and would never
O what a wretched man I am
To doubt you
To despise you
To treat you with contempt
To neglect you
Alpha and Omega
Pardon my continuous mistakes
Let me hide under your shelter
Where I may find sweetest rest for my soul.
The worries of the world can never touch me there
For in your presence is where I draw my source of inspiration
You renew my strength to that of an eagle.
Words fail to describe the Joy and happiness
I feel to know I was redeemed
And bought for a price silver and gold
I yearn to for your presence
To be closer to you
And be a man after God’s heart.
Thank you Lord
