Ballads by the great John Coltrane,
Miles Davis next on the list,
as mellow and comforting these tracks may be
they still fail to help me organise my thoughts.
my mind is overflowing with
visions and pictures that are on the brink of
my consciousness.
As they are about to enter reality they some how flutter away.
banished to my subconscious, that place which is so dark,
compact and buried with irretrievable knowledge and epiphanies,
which are never to have life or be resurrected from their sealed graves.
By great intervention, when the time is right
these hands are led along the path of light
with fire igniting my heart and mind,
words form on paper like water rushes down well known streams.
This fluttering soul of mine, this tangible entity feels redeemed
acknowledging there will be days where my thoughts are clouded and obscure
whilst on other instances my inner being will grasp the muses demanding them
to restore my passions.
Thus in ending let us wrestle with the nine muses:
Calliope,
Clio
Erato
Euterpe,
Melpomene
Polyhymnia
Terpsichore,
Thalia
Urania,
for they are the ones that attribute mankind the burning sensations of wonder and invention, love and misery but yet restrict us from carrying out our desired wishes, giving chaos to our mind until we have discovered our self worth and vocation in life.
